Description : Coordinate the delivery of quality services in the full range of HR activities.
Accountabilities
• Handle Compensation and Benefits Benchmarking (surveys, reviews) including design and support of pay structures,
administrating local benefits and remunerations to ensure competitive advantage and compliancy to group policy
• Provide direct support to the business in elaborating recruitment/resourcing strategy, succession plan, and Coordinate subsequent activities
• Manage cross-postings, expatriations, Short and long term assignments
• Act as custodian and Provide clarifications on applicable group Policies, Processes and Procedures, staying abreast of changes in
Cameroon legislation and provide advice accordingly
• Focal point for development programmes, plan and direct HR development, performance, competence, and career management
• Support organizational design and implement changes.
• Planning, Management & Reporting of HR Functional Cost, Establishment, Recruitment forecasts, HR Master data etc.
• Coordinate HR Audit
• Ensure organizational health through management of employee and industrial relationship for optimal productivity
• Sit-in for country HR Manager
Dimensions/Interface:
• Pecten has a total population of 117 national staff and 15 expatriate staff.
• Interface: national and expat staff, Management/Leadership team, regional/group staff, partners, contractors, Labor and other government institutions.
Key challenges
• Deliver quality services in context of budgetary constraints.
Qualifications : • University graduate Master degree (bac+4/5) in HR management, Management studies
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in human resources management ( minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role)
• Confirmed HR generalist with good experience in a Multinational (International environment)
• Proven track record of managing people in a cross cultural setting and communicating at a leadership level
• Good knowledge and practice of the Cameroon labor law
• Fluency in French and English is required to deal with most internal/external interfaces
• Presentation/influencing/negotiation and writing skills
• MS-office, SAP a plus
• Good learning abilities, spirit of initiative, innovation, organization, and sense of urgency, ability to motivate and coach, demonstrate dynamism and trustworthy.
