Café Supervisor Position

Open to: All applicants with the pre-existing right to live and work in Cameroon.
Dates of employment: Starting June 1, 2014

Work hours: Part time; 20-30 hours/week

Duties of Accountant Position: 
AERAY is seeking an individual for the position of Café Supervisor. The person in this position will work under the supervision of the AERAY General Manager and will be responsible for the operations of Rosa Parks Grill, located within the Embassy. Duties include:

  • Supervision of Café staff (5 persons)
  • Chef for American/Western meals
  • Menu planning and execution
  • Cafeteria and kitchen organization
  • End-of-day cash reconciliation
  • Event planning and execution
  • Attend and support monthly Board of Directors meetings
  • Other functions and duties as assigned by General Manager.

All duties will be in accordance with AERAY internal regulations.

Qualifications Required: All applicants must address each selection criterion detailed below with specific and comprehensive information supporting each item. 

Education:  Completion of high school/secondary school or equivalent diploma required. Training in food service industry preferred.

Experience: Experience in retail and/or food service business preferred. Knowledge of American cuisine highly desired.

Interpersonal Skills: Customer service skills

The candidate must be able to obtain and hold a security clearance.
